In 2024, the Can: Diversity Collective (C:DC) made history, hosting the first stand-alone activation dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) during the World Economic Forum (WEF). This groundbreaking moment spotlighted the global impact of inclusion and created a space for bold, necessary conversations on representation and equity at one of the world’s most influential gatherings.
In 2025, the journey continues. This year’s Inkwell Beach - Davos: The Global Impact of Inclusion Experience builds on that momentum, bringing together distinguished speakers, activists, and thought leaders to explore the critical need for inclusion in today’s rapidly evolving world.
Our discussions will tackle some of the most pressing global challenges, including leadership, emerging technology, and the evolution of equity and belonging, all through the lens of how inclusivity shapes our societies and drives progress.
This is more than a conversation—it’s an opportunity to lead the change. Join us to help amplify voices, share ideas, and inspire actions that foster a more inclusive, equitable future.

Despite the growing pool of highly qualified women, many continue to be overlooked for key political and corporate leadership roles. Compounding this issue is the phenomenon of women voting against their own interests during elections, a trend that hinders collective progress. This panel brings together a diverse group of trailblazers, thought leaders, and changemakers to explore why these disparities persist, the role of allyship in dismantling systemic barriers, and how to create a future where women are equally represented and empowered in leadership. Together, we will unpack the cultural, political, and organizational shifts needed to drive meaningful change.
Research indicates that including marginalized communities into the global economy would generate billions in untapped revenue growth. For example, the collective purchasing power of underrepresented communities, such as Black and Latino/a consumers in the U.S. and Latin America, is substantial and rising. In addition, companies with more diverse team leadership, on average, experience 1.4 times higher revenue growth. Despite these facts, a wide inclusion gap still remains. Underrepresented voices are underserved in economic opportunities across sectors, but especially in technology, financial services, sustainability, and government.
To capitalize on this potential, global leaders in these sectors - and others - will need to shift how they currently communicate with diverse communities by redefining how they market to historically “niche” audiences (whose cultures have become “the new mainstream”) and by changing how they assess, engage with, and invest in diverse leaders (i.e. founders, funders, executives, and employees). This panel will explore how cultural narratives, shifting global trends, and inclusive strategies can bridge the inclusion gap and redefine success for a more equitable and profitable future.

Ambition isn’t a dirty word—it’s a driving force for change. But for women and other underrepresented groups, ambition often comes with unfair scrutiny or double standards. This panel dives headfirst into what it takes to own ambition unapologetically, redefine power structures, and create a culture where equity and bold leadership go hand in hand. Featuring leaders who are disrupting the norms, this conversation will challenge traditional notions of power, explore the intersections of gender and influence, and unpack the role allies play in creating space for new voices. With candid insights and real talk, we’ll examine how to push past stereotypes, claim influence, and shape a more inclusive definition of success—together.

Global efforts are ongoing to address the significant health challenge posed by malaria, which resulted in an estimated 263 million cases and 597,000 deaths in 2023. However, there remains an urgent need for further progress to protect and treat the most vulnerable populations.
The panel discussion will focus on current initiatives aimed at promoting health equity, enhancing drug development efficiency, and improving access to affordable treatments for patients worldwide.
The panel will explore key opportunities to optimize pharmaceutical and manufacturing processes, reduce the cost of active ingredients, and improve distribution strategies globally, all of which are essential to advancing solutions for the unmet needs in malaria treatment.
As organizations around the world have embraced the incredible promises of artificial intelligence, it’s never been more important to ensure AI develops in a way that encourages inclusion rather than exclusion – particularly for people of color and other historically underrepresented communities. Wanji Walcott (Pinterest Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer), Dr. Joy Buolamwini (Founder of The Algorithmic Justice League), Af Malhotra (Founder and CEO of Diversity Economics AI) and Doug Melville (CEO of Jodie AI) will discuss what it will take to unlock the potential for an “AI for good” that adds to the user experience with inclusive features and helps people feel seen for who they are on technology platforms.
